Debby Livingston, Chaplain

Debby received her Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree in 1989 from Chicago Theological Seminary and became a Board Certified Chaplain in 2003.

She has worked or volunteered for Hospices around the country since 1999. She has also been a pastoral counselor, a hospital chaplain, and a college instructor.

She joined Heart of Hospice in the fall of 2011. When asked what brought her to Heart of Hospice she responded, “I chose Heart of Hospice because you are still doing the kind of care that first attracted me to Hospice work. While other places have increasingly emphasized productivity and the bottom line, Heart of Hospice still emphasizes heart to heart care.”
